Peninsula Films produces video programmes that are as varied as our clients, using different production styles - from 2D and 3D animation, to science documentary and scripted drama.

Depending on the intended audience and use, our video productions can work as linear programmes, which tell a story and allow the flow of information to be decided by the client, or, in conjunction with CD-ROM and DVD, as non-linear sections, often with additional text and graphics, allowing the end user control of how content is accessed. The linear video approach is best suited to situations where you have a strong message to convey or where you want to entertain and enthuse your audience. The interactive, non-linear approach works well when you want to disseminate a lot of varied information.

We follow a standard Production Protocol to ensure we work efficiently, covering the four key stages of pre-production, production, post-production and delivery. This may include writing the script, filming, creating animation and graphics, editing, recording the voice over, plus copying and distributing the finished product.

Depending on the complexity of the project, a corporate video takes between eight and 16 weeks to create from start to finish. Costs can be anything between £5,000 and £75,000, though a typical budget is usually in the range of £15,000 to £25,000.
